Hal Gatewood graduated from Oklahoma Christian University in 2004 with a degree in Interactive Multimedia, where he was trained in video production, audio engineering, and web development. Like many recent grads, he wasn’t entirely sure how he would use that combination of skills. Shortly after graduation, he and his wife Émilie moved to Montreal, where her father, Mike Mazzalongo, was serving as a missionary.

It was there that Hal’s diverse training found purpose. Partnering with Mike, he helped launch BibleTalk.ca, a website dedicated to sharing Bible teaching online. They began experimenting with live streaming and building one of the first digital platforms for online Bible study.

In 2013, Hal left his position at The Oklahoman to join BibleTalk.tv full-time as Technology Manager, where he continues to innovate and expand the reach of Bible-based content across the web.
